NCP standing committee meeting urges for effectiveness in party, govt
 Kathmandu, 19 December : The standing committee  (SC)members of the ruling Nepal Communist Party continued discussion on political report of party Chairmen and the statute amendment proposal of General Secretary on Wednesday too. The meeting will continue today too. The standing committee members are expressing their views on the political paper presented by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' . After the leaders completeputting forth their views, the Chairmen duo Dahal and KP Sharma Oli will furnish responses.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Prachanda has proposed setting a political mechanism  to support the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons to which conflict victims and human rights activists have expressed dismay to have such a political mechanism that influences the commissions.
