Kathmandu, 11 December : A writ has been filed at the Supreme Court against the  nomination for three officials of the National Information Commission (NIC). Though the government is yet to formally announce the appointment of Mahendra Man Gurung, Kamala Oli and Deepak Mainali as the Commissioners of the NIC officials, advocate Bishnu Luintel has challenged the decision of a panel to recommend the names. Advocate Luintel, in his writ has argue that the committee to nominate the names was illegal as it was not led by the Speaker of Federal Parliament- House of the Representative.
