Kathmandu, 20 June: The Judicial Council (JC)has recommended for punitive action against three High Court judges for passing erroneous orders in the 33-kg gold smuggling case.

According to media reports, JC will penalize Thir Bahadur Karki, Umesh Kumar singh and Sadhuram Sapkota. Meanwhile, Kantipur reports that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is mulling to terminate all the three from service.
