Kathmandu, 11 June: Singer Aani Chhoying Dolma’s bank account has been blocked and investigation into her property initiated on suspicion of amassing undisclosed source of wealth.
Department of Money Laundering Investigation and Financial Unit of Nepal Rastra Bank has started investigation in to her property as she received millions of American dollars from Hong Kong  via her Mega Bank account repeatedly, reports Kantipur daily.
According to the paper, the Secretariat of the Prime Minister has consistently exerted pressure to the investigating authorities to suspend inquiry and lift the bank account blockage.
