Netrabikram Chand Biplav group has attempted to capture a police post in remote part of Solukhumbu, reports Onlinekhabar.
The underground group, which has been banned by the government, had attempted to launch attack on a police post in Cheskam of Mahakulung Rural municipality 3 in Solukhumbu district last night.
After receiving a pre-notice of attack, the police in the post had already left elsewhere Sunday afternoon.
When the police was informed about some 20/25 persons with arms entered in the village, the police had evacuated the police post.
According to an official, although the armed people entered in the police post, they have not destroyed government documents.
On Monday, additional security force has been sent to the village by helicopter.
