Kathmandu, 31May: The Government has come up with the government-to-government (G2G) model for the operation of Gautam Buddha International Airport. The airport is nearing completion and is slated to come into operation from coming mid-September.

A recent meeting of the Cabinet  decided to move ahead with the process of collaborating with a government company or institution to run the airport in an organised and effective manner.

Meanwhile, an 11-member talks team led by Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has been formed for the third meeting of the detail review of the Nepal-India railway agreement. The cabinet also decided to continue with the Nepali Army chartered flights development committee.
