Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and CPN chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal are found to have poured a big chunk of development budget in their home districts in a bid to influence their voters.
Including Oli and Dahal, other CPN leaders have also diverted more budget in their constituencies.
While Dahal had managed to take 36 projects worth Rs. 4 billion in Chitwan. Dahal was elected to the parliament from Chitwan 3.
Same is the situation in Jhapa, the home district of PM Oli. Oli was elected from Jhapa 5 where dozens projects are underway.
