The powerful communist government has been presenting one progress report after another although the people have not yet felt the presence of a powerful government.
They are facing the same problems which they were facing a year ago. Criminal activities have increased and the government has failed to nab rapists, murderers, smugglers and other criminals. Moreover, incidents of corruption have increased with the wide-body aircraft being the biggest case and the government seems to be working in favour of medical mafias, but the Prime Minister and the ministers have been telling lie to the people presenting their progress, many of which are limited only in papers.
Recently, Minister for Communication and Information Technology presented 29 works performed by the government in 11 months.
However, the works are not new. The government and the PM have been presenting the same.
Minister Baskota has presented the government decision to implement social security scheme based on contribution, wage increase of the workers, operation of the TIA for 21 years as major achievements of the government.
Likewise, foreign employment in zero investment, encouraging economic indicators, concessional loans to youths, preparation to have Nepal’s own satellite are also included in the achievements.
Many of the achievements were also included in PM K P Oli’s address to the House a few weeks ago.
However, the people have paid little attention to the progress reports.
