Kathmandu, 2 December: Japan has agreed to construct tunnels in Bhaktapur and Kavre section of the highway, reports Nagarik daily.

According to Sanjayakumar Shrestha, chief of the foreign assistance coordination department in the Road Department, the Japan government has agreed to upgrade Bhaktapur-Banep road with five lanes along with runnels in major passes.
