Kathmandu, 25 November: Under the written instruction of the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the Tribhuvan University has given affiliation to the private educational institutions. The instruction is against the very cabinet decision led by PM Oli.
In the past, the cabinet meeting chaired by Oli had decided to stop providing affiliation to the private institutions. By violating the cabinet decision, PM Oli is found giving written instruction to the Tribhuvan University for providing affiliation to the private educational institutions. Following the PM's instruction, the University has provided affiliation to 126 private colleges.
These colleges have receiving affiliation to provide education for BCA and BBM are mostly from the Kathmandu Valley and known to be expensive and run by either UML leaders or closed to the UML, reports Kantipur daily.
