Kathmandu, 18 April: Along with the government decision to end syndicate in public transport sector, the public transport entrepreneurs have warned to launch transportation strike nationwide. According to Ratopati news portal, the transport entrepreneurs organised a press conference on 17 April informing that they are going to launch nationwide transportation strike for indefinite period beginning from 13 May. Earlier to 13 May, the entrepreneurs have decided to organize phase-wise protest programmes. Federation of Nepal Transportation Entrepreneurs, Federation of Nepal Heavy Vehicle Transportation Entrepreneurs, Federation of Nepal Petroleum Dealers National Association have jointly announce phase-wise agitation programme. Yogendranath Karmacharya, chairman of the Federation of Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs and coordination of the joint agitation coordination committee said that the government decision to register transportation professionals under the company is not acceptable for them.
