By Our Reporter Himalayan Bank Limited has awarded this year’s HBL-Daayitwa Fellowship Award-2017 to Nepalese Public Service fellows.  The Bank has been sponsoring six Nepalese fellows since 2016. The fellows promote economic prosperity of the country working with various government agencies and policy makers to collaborate and innovate in the governance system. CEO of HBL Ashoke SJB Rana handed over the cheque of sponsorship amount of Rs. 504,000.00 to Dr. Pukar Malla, Executive Director, Daayitwa amidst a function held on Himalayan Bank Ltd. Corporate Office. At the function Dr. Malla had also handed over the token of appreciation to CEO Rana for Bank’s valuable contribution to organize the fellowship program. Meanwhile, the Bank has provided one million one hundred eleven thousand and one hundred eleven rupees to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund in order to assist the victim of floods and landslides, due to the heavy rainfall in various parts of the country, under its corporate Social Responsibilities. CEO of the Bank Ashoke SJB Rana handed over the cheque equivalent to the amount to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba amidst a function at Prime Minister’s office.
