Before entering the official residence of Prime Minister, a special Pooja was organised as per the suggestions of astrologers.

PM Deuba believes in astrology and acts as per the suggestion from the astrologers. A few weeks ago he performed a special Pooja at the Pashupatinath Temple when astrologers told him that he was not getting good days. Fortunately, his good days began when he became PM.
PM Deuba was residing in his private home at Budhanilkantha even after his election to the top executive post on June 6.
A contingent of the Nepal Army had offered a guard of honour to the PM in his honour before he entered the Baluwatar residence.
According to the Drishti vernacular weekly, the government has spent two million rupees for decoration of the PM's official residence as per the instruction of Deuba's spouse Arju Deuba.
