image010Nabil Bank and consulting firm Finlit Nepal have entered into a pact to conduct financial literacy awareness programs at Besishahar Municipality in Lamjung district. During a program organized on June 11, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Ramesh Prasad Lohani, Deputy General Manager of Nabil bank and Prakash Koirala, Director of Finlit Nepal Pvt Ltd to this effect. Under this, the bank with the support of Finlit Nepal will conduct the financial literacy programs in 10 Schools of Lamjung. The programme will include a concept named ‘School Banking’ which is aimed at providing vital information to the targeted students and youths to increase awareness in access to finance. According to the bank, the concept will raise awareness in cash management, savings and expenses, financial planning and investment among the students and their parents as well. Nabil Bank has been conducting various financial literacy programmes in sectors including science and technology, health, literature and arts under its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
