Samsung Nepal has unveiled two new smartphones Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ in the Nepali market. Samsung organizing a program in Kathmandu on April 19 unveiled the smartphones.
Issuing a press statement, the company said that the smartphones redefine the future of style and consumer experience with a stunning bezel-less dual-edge infinity display that provides a truly cinematic viewing experience. They also come with the best low-light camera and a personal assistant, Bixby.
According to the statement, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are equipped with 8MP front camera with F1.7 lens Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+’s 12MP rear camera utilises dual pixel technology.
Moreover, the physical home key on the front has given way to a more intuitive soft key with a pressure sensor that is embedded under the display. The infinity display and bezel-less design give the user 18 per cent more screen and form a smooth, continuous surface with no buttons or harsh angles, making multi-tasking more convenient, reads the statement.
Along with Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, consumers can also get 8GB of data for eight months (1 GB each month) in collaboration with telecom partner Ncell. Moreover, the customers are also entitled to six months breakage insurance in collaboration with Shikhar Insurance and easy EMI in association with various commercial banks.
Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be offered to customers at a price of Rs 88,900 and Rs 98,900 respectively.
The smartphones will be available in select retail stores from May 5. The company also said that the consumers can pre-book the S8 and S8+ online on www.S8prebooking.com from April 20 to May 2.
