Mega Bank Nepal Ltd has started a campaign named 'Nanima Lageko Bani: Aaja Bachau, Jindagi Bhari Ramau' aimed at teaching the habit of saving from the young age.
Issuing a statement, the bank said that Nepali cricket team Captain Paras Khadka and actress Priyanka Karki on Saturday requested the students of SAB Public School, Dillibazaar, to save certain amount of money from young age.
In the program, Bhoj Bahadur Shah, Chairman of the bank expressed his pleasure on the commitments made by Captain Khadka and Actress Karki on the campaign. “Khadka and Karki will reach nationwide students in order to develop saving habits among the youngsters,” said Rabina Deshraj Shrestha, CEO of the bank. She said “The bank aims to establish ‘Mega-relation’ by encouraging the nationwide students to save money and deposit by opening accounts in the bank.”
“If a saving account is opened for a child, s/he can develop saving habit from young age,” the bank said in the statement.
