NIC Asia on Friday said that its clients will directly get to transfer funds to other accounts in other financial institutions using its internet banking services.
Issuing a statement, the bank said, in collaboration with Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL), it launched the Interbank Payment System (IPS) direct service through its internet banking system from December 5.
The bank said it was the first financial institute in Nepal to incorporate the NCHL-IPS funds transfer system through internet banking services.
The bank’s account holders who have subscribed to its internet banking services can now transfer funds to more than 60 financial institutions, including all commercial banks, which were associated with the NCHL-IPS system, it said.
This service has been launched in continuation to serve the customers exclusively by offering an array of products and services reaffirming the bank’s commitment to focus on customers said the statement.
