
NIC ASIA Bank has launched a new product 'MO- Bank' on November 24 in a bid to provide banking services and information jointly in a single platform to the customers via mobile phone. Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that it is a unified digital banking solution that empowers customers with the services of mobile banking, internet banking and digital payments.
According to the statement, the MO Bank is an upgraded smarter version mobile application which works with WiFi/GPRS or in case of non-availability of both, works with SMS as well. It enables customers to integrate maps to locate nearest NIC ASIA Branches and ATM terminals. The app also allows the customers for interbank payment through Fonepay network (within Fonepay member Bank). The customers can also perform regular features including funds transfer, utility payments, cheque book request, mini statements and credit card bill payments.
"There are separate security feature for each type of access during any transaction and is facilitated through dual authentication," reads the statement.
