Former King urges leaders to become serious

After expressing strong dissatisfaction against the attitude of the political actors of the day on his Dasain message and also in his address at the religious assembly at Bankali, former King Gyanendra has once again expressed concern on the attitude of the political leaders of the day.
After receiving Tika from his sister former Royal highnesses Sobha Shahi, in a brief comment to the media, the former King said the political leaders should be serious on the concerns expressed by him in his last two statements.
In the last two statements, the former King had expressed concern on the rampant foreign intervention in the country, dissatisfaction among the citizens, and aimless journey the nation has witnessed, which, the leaders have to respond to seriously.
In his previous address, the former King had warned that the politics of rejection may invite revolt and bloodbath. As the former king has spoken the belief of the majority of the people, the political actors have not been able to respond to the former King’s concerns.
