China International Strategy Review 2016, an annual academic publication from the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS) under Peking University, was released recently at a forum held by the IISS. Since its founding in 2008, the China International Strategy Review has earned recognition from readers for its objective and professional standards. The annual report, which compiles papers from dozens of scholars from China and abroad, follows and analyzes the major changes in the international strategic landscape of the year. Eleven authors of the 2016 edition were invited to the forum to give their thoughts on the major issues in current international strategic studies. The forum covered the US presidential election and Sino-US ties, global governance, the South China Sea, China's peripheral diplomacy, and the Middle East. The China International Strategy Review has published an English edition since 2012. (Global Times)
