By Our Reporter In many bordering villages with India in Sunsari District, Indians have constructed huts and houses by encroaching in Nepali soil, according to reports. In Sripur, Haripur, Narsingha, Laukaha, Ghuski, Basaantapur, DevanGunj, Amaduwa, Rajganj, Sinubari and Sahebgunj VDCs, hundreds of bighas of land have been encroached by the Indians and they have constructed settlements, it is stated in the reports. It is very much surprising why the Nepal government and the Nepali border security force deployed for border security have remained silent and why they have not made any efforts to demolish such constructions! Even after such reports, there is no reaction from the government as well as the political parties. This is the evidence that the Nepal government is even not able to protect the nation’s territory.
