image0051HH Bajaj, the sole distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has announced the second season of 'Pulsar Dare Venture'. After traversing the tricky roads of Mustang in its first edition, the second iteration of Pulsar Dare Venture is slated to conquer Solukhubhu later this year, organisers have announced. Pulsar Dare Venture is the country’s first ever biking reality show. Speaking about the new season, Shekhar Golchha, managing director at HH Bajaj, said, “We had a very successful experience at the first season of Pulsar Dare Venture. We are thoroughly excited to bring something new with the Pulsar Dare Venture II. It is the second season of the event which will explore the thrill; unseen and unexplored terrains of enigmatic Nepal.” Organisers announced this edition of the reality show will trace its route via Banepa, Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu and Taksindhu. The first prize winner will get a cash prize of Rs 1 million and a Pulsar NS, while the second prize winner will take home Rs 5,00,000 and a Pulsar NS. Likewise, third prize winner will receive a Pulsar NS. Musician Robin Tamang is also set to return as host. In its first edition, the show saw 10 riders duke it out on a challenging ride to Jomsom, Mustang, via the Lake City—Pokhara. The bikers were selected from an initial pool of 800 applications, before being subjected to a rigorous training course with mentors from Bikers Nepal. Santosh Adhikari had emerged as the winning rider, adjudicated based on SMS votes entered by viewers. The application for this year’s show is now open and accessible via the event’s website or their Facebook page.
