rbbRastriya Banijya Bank’s (RBB) branch office has been re-established at Harthok in Palpa district as it had been displaced during a decade-long Maoist insurgency. The Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr Chiranjivi Nepal inaugurated the branch office. During the inauguration program he said that the farmers will be benefited from the loan as the financial institutions were providing the loan on five per cent interest rate to them as per the monetary policy. He also urged the youth to get involved in productive sector rather going abroad for cheap labour. With the re-establishment of the branch office, locals at Bhairavsthan, Khasyauli, Deurali, Bandipokhara, Palung, Mainadi among other VDCs of Palpa district and some locals of Gulmi and Arghakhanchi districts will be benefited as well.
