image005The Women’s Creation Centre will be organising the Dabur Special Teej Festival 2016. The event will celebrate the major Hindu festival Teej, starting from August 11 - 15, at the United World Trade Centre (UWTC), in the Capital. The event will have on exhibit goods and services produced by women, which, according to the organisers, will act as a platform for women entrepreneurs to share their creation and experiences; moreover, the event will feature 90 stalls featuring all of Teej essentials including religious paraphernalia, handicrafts, clothing, and home appliances. The five-day event will see a number of food stalls along with a plethora of artists and DJs. At a press conference in the Capital the organisers said that they were expecting over 40, 000 visitors to the festival. The entry to the event is free and open to all.
