Honey Guide has launched a mobile application 'Trekking in Nepal'. The app features three popular trekking trails of the country - Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp and, Ghorepani-Poon Hill. Issuing a press statement, HoneyGuide said the mobile app intends to keep travellers safe and engaged and guides trekkers in the right path by deviation alerts. "The app also has an Avalanche Alerts, which helps alert trekkers when they enter avalanche prone areas," the statement added. This app is believed to solve the problem of being lost while trekking and traveling in Nepal. According to the statement the app also provides various information about cultural artefacts like prayer wheels, Danfe, rhododendron etc that lie along the trail. “Once you download this app, you will never get lost” said Abhishek Paney, co-founder of Honey Guide.
