By Our Reporter With the registration of no-trust motion against prime minister K . P. Oli, the fate of the ambassador-nominees has become uncertain. Though the Parliament Hearing Committee of the parliament has started hearing of the justice-nominees, it is unlikely to initiate process of hearing on the recommended names of the ambassadors unless the government gets replaced. Even the hearing committee has halted the hearing process of justices after concluding the hearings on Chief Justice   Sushila Karki and Chief Election Commissioner Ayodi Prasad Yadav. However, the committee is likely to finalise the names of all the justices as two of the justice-appointees are loyal to Nepali Congress. The process was halted as president of hearing committee K B Gurung took ill But the hearing committee is unlikely to initiate hearing process of the ambassador nominees. It is said that NC was angry with PM Oli after he called back Deep Kumar Upadhya from New Delhi accusing him of making anti-government move and if PM Oli is replaced by Maoist Centre’s Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the UML recommended ambassadors are likely to be replaced by NC recommended ones. However, the ambassadors nominated in the Maoist quota and those from the Foreign Ministry will be allowed to become the ambassadors.
