Austria-based Nepali writer Ravichandra Bhattarai’ snovel ‘Trishna’ has been launched. Based on the hardships that illegal Nepali migrants have to undergo, ‘Trishna’ tells a true stories of Nepalese who are compelled to travel overseasfor employment. Here in this book most of the stories are set in Europe and tell the stories of sufferings of Nepaleseover there.
Bhattarai said “With this book, I want to show the struggles of Nepali diaspora and I want to render a message to the aspirant migrants, especially youths, who dream of making their dreams true travelling to Europe; I want to tell them the actual reality of it and how bitter the truth is.” He further added “I hope the novel will inspire Nepali youths to stay in Nepal and do something on their own.”
The novel has been published by Ashyar Creation, and is priced at Rs 350.
