‘Sadhai Tanneri’, a book that deals with human health and the ways to overcome the effects of ageing, was jointly launched by authors TirthaBahaimage0011durShreshta and Satya Mohan Joshi amid a ceremony at the premises of Nepalaya at Kalikasthan, in the Capital, held on Saturday. Speaking during the conversation, Shrestha said “the book makes us clear that the old age is not an issue to worry about.” ‘SadhaiTanneri’ deals with, among other things, such widespread concerns as maintaining a sound health in old age. Speaking during the programme, the nonagenarian cultural expert Satya Mohan Joshi explained how not only a good diet but also the degree of satisfaction one derives tends to have effect on one’s living. Author JeevanPrasain is, by profession, a student of pharmacy. He embarks on a different endeavour through the book: He makes us aware about the herbs around the surrounding which one could use to remain healthy and how one could keep doctor away through regular exercises and medicinal herbs. The book has been published by Nepalaya and is priced at Rs 345.
