China CAMC Engineering has submitted the feasibility study report on Rasuwagadhi–Kathmandu, Kathmandu–Pokhara, Pokhara–Lumbini Railway Line to the Nepal government. This report was submitted by CAMCE two weeks ago to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.
It is learnt that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Railway Line will be started on submission of the feasibility study. The preparation of the DPR is expected to be completed within one or one and a half years and construction is expected to begin, thus materializing the Rasuwagadhi–Kathmandu–Pokhara–Lumbini Railway line in the coming few years according to a source from Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport. China has been very much eager in construction of the railway project and the Ministry of Commerce has also given green light for CAMCE to forward further processing for the project.
The China CAMC Engineering is trusted upon its capability and fulfillment of responsibility by the Chinese government and thus is entrusted with such huge projects.
